The town or municipality where the place receives mail.
Since the Places database is used for both mailing and non-mailing applications, a longer city name is used versus the USPS standard of 13 characters. For example: Infogroup uses "Corpus Christi" instead of "Crp Christi" and "Lake Ronkonkoma" rather than "Lk Ronkonkoma".
Infogroup uses the USPS standard abbreviations for Saint (St) and Mount (Mt) for all cities. Infogroup also consistently spaces "Mc" cities, always abbreviates "Township" to "Twp" and always abbreviates "Air Force Base" to "AFB".
